Have you ever wondered what would be your life when God is with you. I can tell you, if God is “with” you, you are part of a big plan.
Joseph was in Egypt and people around him got to know God was with him. He was elevated from being a slave to a prime minister, not only that he drew the people of Israel to Egypt. God was with Moses, he brought the people of Israel out of Egypt. God promised Joshua to be with him as he was with Moses and he settled the people in Canaan, fighting and winning mighty wars. (Genesis 39:3,21, Joshua 1:5,9)
God had big plans for Abraham, he had to travel following God’s voice and he had protection as well. God had revealed to Abimelech who Abraham was and saw how he prospered. One time he said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do… do to me according to the kindness I have done to you”. Complete surrender! for a stranger is an outstanding work of God for to those whom he is with. (Genesis 20, 21:22-34)
David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it (build the temple): do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God – My God – will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you…”. This is one of the shortest and greatest confidence speech that could be given to a young son. I love this a lot. Solomon’s reign is recorded this way: Now Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and exalted him exceedingly. God gave the vision to David and Solomon to execute it, thus the temple of God was built and it was a glorious and great showpiece for Israel. (1 Chronicles 28:20, 2 Chronicles 1:1)
Nicodemus recognized the ‘secret of power’ that Jesus had by saying “… no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him”. God had a big salvation plan for He loved the world so much, He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:2,16)
When God is with you, He will accomplish everything for you, He will grant everything you will need, He will strengthen you and be a confidence for you. He will prosper you and magnify you. All you need is to be with God. The Lord is with you while you are with God. (1 Samuel 3:19, Genesis 21:20, 2 Timothy 4:17, Jeremiah 20:11, 2 Samuel 5:10, 2 Chronicles 15:2)
Remember the words that God spoke to Jacob and Joshua. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go. I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go. May God be with you, strengthen you, prosper you and magnify you. Invite God to be with you. Jesus said, I am with you always even to the end of the age. (Genesis 28:15, Joshua 1:5,9, Matthew 28:20)
